VII. Christology of Karl Rahner

Grant, O Infinite God,
that I may always hold fast to Jesus Christ, my Lord.
May his heart reveal to me who you are for me.
I shall gaze upon his heart when I desire to know who you are…
O God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
I shall gaze upon his human heart,
for it is only then that I am sure that you love me.
